Earlier in 2020 banks that were under a a single group e.g Halifax and Bank of Scotland started showing all accounts in their "group realm" as opposed to "the bank realm" when you looked to add an account. This would incorrectly pull through accounts that didn't work.

Not sure which App you are on?
If you are unsure if you are on Money Dashboard Classic or Money Dashboard Neon? You can find that information here.
Let's say you hold a Halifax Current account and a Bank of Scotland (BoS) current account and savings account.
You are trying to add your Halifax Current Account to Money Dashboard Neon. You get sent to your bank's Open Banking portal. You may see both the Halifax and Bank of Scotland accounts. Even though:
- You have gone through the Halifax Portal
- Even though Savings accounts are not supported
This is because banks under the Halifax and Bank of Scotland umbrella will present you with the full realm (e.g all your accounts you have with all providers in the group).
What can I do?
In the case above even though you can see the other accounts only select the Halifax account for adding if you have gone through the Halifax portal. If you bring through other accounts they will not work. To add those accounts in this example you would need to go through the Bank of Scotland add account process.
