Example
You make a £900 transfer to your partner for all household expenses including bills, mortgage payments and household purchases. You can use the 'Split transaction' feature to accurately reflect this in the rest of the reporting features. For example, instead of only being able to track £900 under a single category, splitting a transaction will enable you to track different amounts into different categories
- Locate the £900 transaction from your Transactions list
- Tap into it to bring up the Transactions details. You will then see the option to 'Split' this transaction.
- You can then assign different categories to the split portion of the £900 once the split is done
